Haille Mace was finishing her junior year of varsity soccer at her high school in southern California and had NOT had one single offer to play for a Division 1 college. No one took notice of Haille at all and she had convinced herself that she would be content staying close to home and playing for a Division 2 or 3 school. That’s when her family decided it was time to send out a highlight video and, well, someone did take notice. One day she got a call that went something like this, ” Hi Haille, how would you like to come up to L.A. and play soccer for me at UCLA? And, by the way, where have you been hiding all this time? Of course she accepted and excelled at UCLA and on April 08, 2018, against Mexico, Haille made her International debut as a defender for the UNITED STATES WOMEN’S NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM.
